The Tough Clip is a key dangler inspired by paperclips and Japanese key hooks. Extremely lightweight but still tough as nails in Grade 5 titanium or thick brass, both with stonewashed finish. Featuring easy slip-on attachment to belt loops, quick detachment of key rings and design elements that allow the clip to lay flat against the leg for comfort. I tested a wide array of carabiners, key hooks, etc. before designing these and I think you'll really enjoy the carry!

-Tough Clip (Standard): Our best selling option, the tried and true Tough Clip is the most straight forward option in the lineup. At .125" thick it feels sturdy and just right on your hip.

-Tough Clip Aero: My personal favorite, this variation comes in at .063" thick making it featherlight and discreet. The thin gauge also allows the titanium to be cut with smaller gaps meaning the JRW logo is cut out and the middle prong is much closer to the outer prong to help prevent keys from accidentally slipping off. You may notice a lot more flex to the Tough Clip Aero but rest assured that the grade 5 titanium is remarkably springy and will never deform under normal use.

-Tough Clip Anchor: Addressing the concerns of a small fraction of Tough Clip users we added an anchor point at the bottom for you to permanently affix key rings! You can still slip key rings off and on quickly the old way but now you may choose to keep critical daily keys secured to the Tough Clip Anchor.

-Tough Clip Classic: Just like the original Tough Clip prototypes, this Classic variant is cut from solid brass. Thickened up to .187" thick, you can expect an experience closer to that of a traditional Japanese key hook including natural patina over time.

"This is the key solution I've been looking for, easily one of my favorite things I've come across" -Taylor Martin, Best Damn EDC

"A thoroughly modern and witty key-carrying solution." -Urban EDC Supply

Was tired of carrying around a cheap D clip from any typical shop. Wanted to go for more of a littler set up and I am super satisfied.

I do recommend buying the O ring pack bc depending on the thickness of the split rings it may still slide up the gap. I personally have shackles on mine so that isn't too much of a problem. I have a sling with molle inside that I can easily hook this into so I know exactly where they are and am not digging around at the bottom of the bag.

The only problem I have is of personal taste but I do wish the clip was slightly thicker. I think even another 1/16 would have done the trick. Being titanium it's super light and with this thickness it does feel a bit flimsy.

Also, if using this to carrying your car fob I would recommend attaching a quick release chain to the clip. Either magnetic or pin will make it a lot less of a hassle to crank your car during winter lol.

Love it

Working great, love how simple it is. Added the Urban Carvers keyper MQR & it’s perfect.

This thing is sick!

Taylor Martin from Best Damn EDC brought the Tough Clip to my attention in a video. I saw it, thought about it for months before I bought (as I tend to do) and when I did buy it, I was flabbergasted. My keys are cleaner than they ever have been and it’s so easy to get on and off my belt loop. And the addition of an I-ring so your keys don’t fall off is an added bonus!

Amazing key ring

This fixed the only thing in my opinion that was a weakness of the original. I had a key ring that was at its thinnest point would slide back through the loop. This one keeps the ring exactly where it should be. They both allow my keyring to hand at the perfect height to rest in my pocket when I am walking so that they don't rattle. The best keyring attachment I have ever owned.

Not the same product

I bought one of the original tough clips and have loved the versatility and reliability of the rigid titanium pocket paper clip. That said the new tough clip which I just purchased is less than half the thickness of the original with a lot more flex and overall I have much less faith in the product. If a product is going to decrease in build quality to this degree the price should reflect it.
